Cumulative freight throughput at the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station section surpasses 70 mln tonnes

Cumulative freight throughput at the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station section has recently surpassed 70 million tonnes. Of this total, 9.34 million tonnes were transported via the Xiangjiaba ship lift, while about 61.18?million tonnes passed through the Xiangjiaba transshipment terminal.
The ship lift?began 24-hour trial operations at the end of 2024.?In 2023, its annual freight volume reached a record of 1.95 million tonnes.
The transshipment terminal, thanks to CTG's efforts to?optimize vessel dispatching, saw its freight volume rise from 7.04 million tonnes in 2022 to 7.67 million tonnes in 2023.?In 2024, it continued to maintain strong performance, reaching 7.43 million tonnes.
To date, the Xiangjiaba section has achieved an annual freight throughput of about 9.63?million tonnes.
